Frequently Asked Questions

Will my tour be private?

We plan and customize each tour specifically for your group and according to the tour leader’s vision. The tour leader may opt to partner with another church or organization or open the tour to the public, but Morning Star Tours will only combine groups upon request.

What is the typical size of a group?

Most of our groups range in size from 32 – 48 people. Our tours are customizable based on vision, location, and tour leader preferences. Some groups may be smaller, while others may be mutli-bus.

Do you include international airfare in the tour packages?

Yes, we can include international group airfare in the tour package, or we can create a land-only tour package where guests have the flexibility to choose their preferred airline, class of ticket, and seats (including upgrades).

What if I am an individual or smaller group looking to join a tour?

Our Tour Management Team would love to help place you on one of our tours open to the public. For a list of open tours, click “start a conversation” below, or email mst@morningstartours.com.

Are your tours all-inclusive?

Included in our price are all costs associated with the group activities, all gratuities, and all taxes and service charges. As each tour is customized to fit the tour leader’s vision, some tours include transatlantic air and all meals, while other tours are a land-only package and allow some flexibility for lunches or dinners out on your own (these are clearly marked on the tour’s website). We feel it is extremely important to be good stewards of your trust by doing everything in our power to present a spiritually fulfilling experience, including making you aware of all costs in advance so there are no ‘surprises’ along the way.

What is the benefit of faith-based group travel?

Our hope and prayer is for each traveler to be more than a tourist, but rather a teachable disciple who is engaging with the pages of Scripture and being formed more into the image of Jesus. Enjoying fellowship and bonding with a group of like-minded guests while receiving excellent Bible teaching and guiding on site, allows you to absorb God’s truth in powerful and life-changing ways. Standing in a rich, Biblical backdrop with your hearts set free from details like accommodations, transportation, meals, and other logistics, ministry takes center stage.

What is unique about your itineraries?

We partner with our tour leaders to recognize their particular areas of expertise, passions, and goals for a tour. With this knowledge, we tailor each itinerary specifically to create an ideal and impacting experience.

Should I purchase Travel Insurance?

Insurance is not required but is highly recommended. Travel insurance companies and policies vary greatly in coverage options – we recommend reviewing policy details thoroughly prior to purchase. NOTE: Morning Star Tours does not sell insurance, nor are we qualified to answer technical questions related to a travel insurance policy, claim, or benefits. Please contact the insurance company directly with any questions you may have. Some companies we have seen guests use are: TravelSafe, Travel Guard, and IMGlobal.

Pre-Travel Authorization Links

All guests traveling with Morning Star Tours remain responsible for ensuring they meet the travel entry requirements for each country they plan to visit before, during, or after their travels. These requirements, as mandated by airlines and individual countries or regions, may change without notice and cancellation fees will apply should guests no longer meet the country entry requirements for their travel program.
