Since 1995, Morning Star Tours has been offering travelers opportunities to experience the Bible in a transformational way that would impact their hearts and engage their minds. Motivated by a desire to ignite a passion for God and His Word, our founders, Cheri and Mike Fitzsimmons, began offering guided tours through the Holy Land, allowing travelers to walk in the footsteps of Jesus. Over the next several years, their daughter, Mikele Harrison, joined them as co-owner, and the vision expanded to offer other signature tours, including the Journeys of the Apostles, Protestant Reformation tour in Germany/ Switzerland, and Egypt Nile Cruise.
In 2023, the Fitzsimmons invited long-time team members Regina Scott, Abby Spencer, and Leigh Cooper to form the Morning Star Executive team, carrying on their legacy of Christ-centered leadership. The Executive team is focused on leading Morning Star Tours into the growing landscape of tourism and globalization with a commitment to excellence and heart-filled service in the forefront of all operations.
With diverse backgrounds in industries such as corporate hedge fund management, academia, event planning, real estate, sales and marketing, as well as various forms of full-time ministry, each member of our team sensed a strong calling to Morning Star Tours. Collectively, our goal is to provide a seamless tour and serve people, all in an effort to facilitate an environment where God’s glory is made known.
